The fablab

A series of creative and innovative activities around the image are offeredin a unique location to the widest possible public at the Fablab,. Rooted in research, experimentation and creation, the Fablab addresses the question of the image in all its complexity and allows users to fully explore digital topics in connection with new image practices.

At the heart of an ecosystem promoting research into the image, the Fablab is a space for exchange, sharing of knowledge and know-how, and a critical space in which expertise is not disconnected from the end user.

In 2020, the Fablab joined forces with Arles Linux to introduce the philosophy of ‘Free’ to as many as possible. Two free formats are offered:

→ Experimentation with Raspberry Pi nano-computers and free software.
→ The discovery of the programming language Bash & Shell, to communicate with the heart of the computer.
