Estefanía Peñafiel Loaiza
Artist-in-residence for educational purposes at the ENSP in 2021/2022
Estefanía Peñafiel Loaiza was born in 1978 in Quito, Ecuador, and has lived in Paris since 2002. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she was part of the ‘La Seine’ research programme at the ENSBA in Paris and took part in the postgraduate programme at the ENSBA in Lyon.
Her artistic work has been featured in numerous exhibitions across Europe and around the world. She is a resident at the Académie de France in Rome – Villa Medici for the 2020–2021 academic year.
